A Mahanoy City woman was injured early Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Rush Township.

Abahgail Wiekrykas, 19, was driving on Pine Creek Drive at 5 a.m. when she lost control of her 2003 Chevrolet Malibu. The car left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The driver was transported to St. Luke's Miners Hospital in Coaldale for unspecified injuries.Rush Township Police are investigating the accident.
