A Schuylkill County motorcyclist was injured in a crash at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of routes 209 and 1011 in Brockton.

State police at Frackville said John James, 51, of Mary D, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on 209 while Skyeler Barnetsky, 19, of Cumbola, was operating a 1980 Suzuki bike southbound on 209. Barnetsky did not see James and attempted a left turn onto Route 1011. James was unable to stop in time and struck the side of the bike.On impact Barnetsky, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the bike. He was taken by ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. James was not injured.The investigation into the crash is continuing.
