State police at Schuylkill Haven are looking for a driver they believe was involved in two hit-and-run crashes within a minute of each other in Pine Grove Township on Thursday.
Troopers said the first crash was reported at 9:14 p.m. at the intersection of Route 443 and Brookside Road. Troopers said a car was driven eastbound on 443 and the driver attempted a right turn onto Brookside Road when the front of his vehicle struck the front of a 2010 Ford E350 truck operated by Mark J. Snyder, 53, of Sunbury, who was stopped for a stop sign on Brookside.After impact the other driver continued onto Brookside and after a short distance went off the road and onto the lawn at 16 Brookside, where it struck a tree. After impact the driver continued east on Brookside.Snyder was not injured.
