August 30, 1997 With under a minute to play, Palmerton's Matt Hager makes a tackle on fourth down at the Bomber 19-yard line to preserve a 12-7 Colonial League win over Wilson. Hager, the team's defensive end, stops the Warriors top running back (Bill Stocker) just short of a first down. Hager also scores Palmerton's first touchdown on a seven-yard run and finishes with 10 tackles. The winners, coached by Manny Guedes, also receive a 47-yard scoring run from Jarrett Kuhfahl and 10 tackles from Josh Barkanic.
