• Solar panels that will provide about 40 percent of the campus annual electrical needs.• Geothermal system that will provide 100 percent of the cooling and heating requirement.• It is located on 78 acres of land with spectacular views of Mount Pocono and the Delaware Water Gap,• It was built with 320 tons of structural steel, 4,400 tons of concrete, 600,000 pounds of brick, 300,000 pounds of natural stone, 8,000 square feet of glass, 124,000 feet of ductwork and 500,000 feet of wire.• Approximately 70 percent of construction waste was recycled.• Parking lots will accommodate 1,280 cars. The lots include 24 accessible parking spaces and 50 EEV spaces to encourage the use of energy-efficient vehicles.• Wireless access inside and out, a video wall, interactive displays, touch-screen computers and tablets, and classrooms designed for collaborative learning.• Degrees and certificate programs that can be completed entirely through study on the new campus include accounting, biological science, biotechnology, business administration, business management, chemistry, communication studies, computer information systems, computer information systems, computer information technology, computer science, criminal justice, early childhood education, general studies, hospitality management, meeting and event planning, hospitality management, resort management, liberal arts, math/physics, medical assistant, medical billing, middle level education, nursing, public health, secondary education, secondary education (math and science), social work, and web development.• The campus is home to approximately 200 faculty and staff committed to student success and to approximately 2,000 of the Poconos, most eager and promising students.
