Diakon Community Services will offer a free "Healthy Steps for Older Adults" Program for Tamaqua area residents. The two-part program is being offered to residents age 50 and older and will be held Sept. 25 and Oct. 1 at the Majestic House Apartment Complex, 201 E. Broad St.Participants should plan to attend both sessions, as they offer different helpful advice on ways to raise participants' knowledge of falls, introduce steps to reduce falls, and improve health and well-being.
