State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an incident in Monroe County.

Troopers said at 11:45 a.m. on July 27, Desiree Garcia, 51, of Saylorsburg, was stopped for a stop sign on Route 715 at the intersection of Hypsie Gap Road in Jackson Township before entering a construction area for work on McMichael's Bridge.Garcia waited for a vehicle to pass over the bridge due to one-lane traffic. As the other vehicle passed her, the driver was yelling and threw an unknown object at Garcia's, vehicle damaging the windshield. Garcia was not injured.The other vehicle was described as being a dark late-model full-size pickup.
