Palmerton Police Department is investigating the following incidents:

TheftCriminal charges were filed against Steven Wright, 22, of 939 Mauch Chunk Road, Apt. 2, Palmerton, for 3 counts of criminal conspiracy-identity theft, theft from a motor vehicle, access device fraud, criminal conspiracy-access device fraud, and three counts of criminal conspiracy - theft from motor vehicle. Criminal charges were also filed against Dylan Lavecchia, 20, of 2137 E. Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, for three counts of identity theft, access device fraud, criminal conspiracy-access device fraud, and three counts of theft from a motor vehicle. The incident occurred between midnight and 4:47 a.m. on Aug. 12 throughout the borough.HarassmentCriminal charges were filed against Jeremy Whiteman, 34, of 747 W. Edgemont Ave., Palmerton, for simple assault, resisting arrest, institutional vandalism and harassment. The incident occurred at 3:03 a.m. Aug. 10 in the 900 block of Mauch Chunk Road.DUICriminal charges were filed against Tricia McGarvin, 53, of 636 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, for cited for DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, and driving on right side of roadway. The incident occurred at 12:32 a.m. July 12 in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.Criminal charges were filed against Samantha Ealey, 26, of 2820 Whitetail Deer Drive, Bath, for DUI. The incident occurred at 9:40 p.m. June 26 at Lehigh Avenue and Second Street.SpeedingCriminal charges were filed against Michael Wojcik, 24, of 256 Beech St. Second floor, Harrison, New Jersey, for false ID to law enforcement, speeding, two counts of stop signs and yield signs, and driving under suspension. The incident occurred at 1:27 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.Melissa Salovay, 30, of 1445 Mauch Chunk Road, Palmerton, was cited for speeding. The violation occurred at 11:05 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 600 block of Mauch Chunk Road.A citation was issued to Ryan Smith, 23, of 215 E. Seventh St., Apt. 302, Bethlehem, for speeding. The violation occurred at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.Nicholas Raub, 18, of 435 Little Gap Road, Palmerton, was cited for speeding. The violation occurred at 4:47 p.m. July 31 in the 1400 block of Mauch Chunk Road.A citation was issued to Jesus Martinez, 33, of 1325 Fairmount St., Bethlehem, for speeding. The violation occurred at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 8 on Route 248 east.Disorderly conductJessica Johnston, 30, of 734 Church St., Palmerton, for disorderly conduct. The violation occurred at 8:36 p.m. Aug. 13 at the above address.Traffic violationStephen Strohl, 24, of 3822 Forest Inn Road, Aquashicola, was cited for obedience to traffic control device. The violation occurred at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.A citation was filed against Shawn Meyers, 41, of 348 S Broadway, Wind Gap, for driving under suspension. The violation occurred at 11:08 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.Tyler Flint, 22, of 10 Fetherman St., Stroudsburg, was cited for careless driving. The violation occurred at 7:05 p.m. Aug. 9 at First Street and Franklin Avenue.A citation was issued to a 17-year-old Palmerton male for obedience to traffic control devices. The violation occurred at 5:06 p.m. Aug. 7 at Mauch Chunk Road and Delaware Avenue.• Police also issued citations for six vehicle-related violations, as well as one citation for curfew.
