A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Sunday.

State police at Frackville said the incident occurred at 4 a.m. at 115 Furnace Road in New Philadelphia.Troopers said Lee Howard Batdorf Jr., 26, woke up looking for rolling papers for his cigarettes. He was unable to find them and became angry. He then started a verbal argument with a 34-year-old woman, which escalated into a physical confrontation. Batdorf then pushed the woman to the floor and bit her twice. A 16-year-old juvenile attempted to intervene and break up the fight. Batdorf then punched the teen in the face twice.Batdorf was charged with simple assault and harassment, troopers said.
