A Hamburg man accused of stealing from a Giant Supermarket in the Cressona Mall, North Manheim Township, is in Schuylkill County Prison, according to state police at Schuylkill Haven.

Robert Joseph Ryan Jr. was reportedly spotted Aug. 12 pushing a cart with unpaid grocery items on a sidewalk near the store between 9 and 9:30 p.m. Police said Ryan has two prior retail theft convictions and will face felony charges for last week's incident.Ryan is in prison in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
