A young couple and their young child escaped with minor injuries Sunday afternoon when involved in a head-on crash along Route 443 in East Brunswick Township. The crash occurred at 2:30 p.m. as the family was traveling west, when for an unknown reason their 2005 Subaru drifted over the center line striking a pickup traveling east, which had slowed down to make a left turn onto the lot of Eckroth Farm Equipment. The driver of the pickup was not injured. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
