One driver sustained a minor injury in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday along Route 61, in Blythe Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Andrew J. Hubiak, 21, of New Philadelphia, was northbound in the left lane driving a 2003 Pontiac Vibe while Renee M. Medina, 33, of Frackville, was in the right northbound lane driving a 2013 Dodge Dart.Both drivers were negotiating a left curve when Hubiak lost control. His Pontiac spun clockwise and ran into the driver's side of the Dodge pushing it into the guide rail on the right berm. The Pontiac then slid off the right berm and also struck the guide rail. About 35 feet of guide rail was damaged in the crash.Medina sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene by Shenandoah ambulance personnel.Troopers said Hubiak was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
