Kattner collects a hit and scores a pair of runs for the winners, who race to an 8-0 lead after four innings. Thorpe also receives a hit and run scored from Ray Alberts, Ron Hagenbach, Dan Carrigan and Tessitore. For Coaldale, Mark Taras and Joe Pavlovich each finish with a hit and two runs scored.
