A vehicle stop in Schuylkill County led to the arrest of a Luzerne County man wanted in South Carolina.

State police at Frackville said Colin Daniel Fogarty, 55, of Dallas, was stopped about 10:50 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of routes 924 and 339, in the village of Brandonville, East Union Township, for a traffic violation.A routine check revealed that Fogarty had an active warrant for his arrest issued out of the Spartanburg sheriff's office. He was arrested and arraigned before District Judge Cristina Hale, of Frackville, on a fugitive from justice warrant and committed to the county prison in Pottsville pending extradition to South Carolina.
