A Carbon County man has been charged with persistent disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for an incident that occurred over the weekend.

State police at Lehighton said that Stanley E. Haydt, 43, of Lehighton, was found passed out along Bridge Street, west of the train tracks in Weissport, at 12:07 a.m. Sunday.When ordered to leave the roadway, he refused, and continued to sit in the roadway.Haydt was highly intoxicated, and arrested for public drunkenness and persistent disorderly conduct.
