A younger man and woman are being sought in connection with a burglary at 11:27 a.m. Wednesday at 136 E. Adamsdale Road in North Manheim Township.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said the two suspects arrived in what appears to be a four-door, newer model red pickup. They approached the rear of the residence and forced their way inside and removed bundles of wire, as well as four surveillance cameras. The property is owned by Barry Decker, 67, of Quarryville, Lancaster County.A second break-in was reported at the residence of William Reiner, 76, of 2044 E. Grand Ave., Tower City, Porter Township. Several items were removed from the home sometime between June 1 and July 31.Troopers are also investigating a criminal mischief incident. Unknown criminals approached Buddy's Log Cabin, 97 Tremont Road in Pine Grove Township, and tampered with a security camera and two electrical boxes. The incident occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
