A Tamaqua juvenile has been cited for retail theft following an incident at the Family Dollar Store, 137 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua.

The teenage girl entered the store at 3:38 p.m. on July 26 and attempted to steal several candy bars and pencils, police said.
