A Schuylkill County man was caught, on video, stealing jewelry from a county department store.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Matthew Taylor, 21, of Orwigsburg, was observed on video surveillance in Boscov's Department store in the Fairlane Village Mall, Norwegian Township, concealing numerous articles of jewelry into a box.He then proceeded to place two boxes of jewelry into his pocket and leave the store without paying for the items.Taylor was charged with retail theft. The incident occurred at 6:04 p.m. on Wednesday.
