A Monroe County woman is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Saturday.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said a patrol unit observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the Field of Dreams lot in Mount Pocono at 1:21 a.m., which is after hours.Police made contact with the two occupants, a male and female. The male was identified as Courtney John, 33, of Stroudsburg. The female did not have any identification and gave police the name of Ashley McFarland, with a birth date which would have made her 18 years old. She was obviously not 18, police said.A further investigation revealed her to be Shelly McFarlane, 48, of Tobyhanna. She was charged with false identification to law enforcement.
