Pocono Mountain Regional police released information on two reported armed robberies that occurred in July.

A Pocono Cab Company driver was robbed at 2:44 a.m. on July 24 along Route 196 at Woodside Drive in Coolbaugh Township. About that time the driver arrived at the emergency exit gate for A Pocono Country Place and was approached by two black males. The driver was assaulted while still in his vehicle. One of the males displayed a handgun and demanded the drivers' money.They then ran into the development along Woodside Drive.The second armed robbery was reported at 9:06 p.m. on July 31 along Route 196 in Coolbaugh Township. Police were dispatched to a reported robbery at the back gate of the J-section of A Pocono Country Place. The caller said that shots had been fired.Upon arrival officers spoke with three victims, who were not hurt. Police are still investigating the incident and attempting to identify the suspect.
