A Schuylkill County police officer was the victim of a burglary.
State police at Frackville said the burglary occurred at a home at 174 Strawberry Lane, Union Township, owned by Mary Drumheller, 52, of Shenandoah.Troopers said the home was entered sometime between June 8 and Aug. 1. Entry was gained by breaking a front window.Among the items removed from the home were three police shirts with patches for the police departments of Ashland (black), Frackville (gray) and Butler Township (black). Also possibly taken was a Kevlar bulletproof vest. The vest would be in a blue carrier.Those items belong to Jason Drumheller, 34, of Mount Carmel, a part-time police officer in the communities mentioned.Also taken in the entry were two green storage containers which contained various items of sports memorabilia consisting of a complete set of major league baseball cards, rare rookie cards, sign plaques, photographs of athletes and other items.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
