A Monroe County man is facing a charge of false identification to law enforcement.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were on patrol at 1:19 a.m. on June 28 at the Blakeslee Flea Market parking lot when they observed a suspicious white minivan in the lot.Police made contact with a male and female who stated they were setting up for the market in the morning.The girl provided information that police were able to verify. The male, however, provided a name which did come back as the owner of the van. Other information did not match.A further investigation revealed that the male was actually Joseph Wood, 38, of Tobyhanna. He was charged with providing false ID.
