A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 12:27 a.m. Friday along Wolf Road, in the Pattersonville section of Union Township.

State police at Frackville said a patrol unit found a vehicle parked on the travel lanes of Wolf Road. The driver, lated identified as Martin Joseph Reese, 63, of Ringtown, was slumped over the steering wheel.He was awakened by troopers. A strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from his breath and person, troopers said.He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street, Pottsville, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
