A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday evening after he was involved in a crash along Troxell Road in Mahoning Township. The crash occurred just before 6:30 p.m. when the biker apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. He and his motorcycle were found lying along the west berm of the roadway. He was treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance and Lehighton paramedics and transported to an area hospital. The scene is about a half mile south of SR443. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
