Neighbor dispute ends in arrest

A Summit Hill man is in prison after he created a disturbance and fought with police on Tuesday.

According to Summit Hill police, at 8:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to 124 E. Fell St., Summit Hill for a report of a neighbor issue.Upon arrival, as police talked to the person who filed the complaint, Thomas Horner, 55, of 126 E. Fell St., was outside visibly intoxicated and causing a disturbance. He was told by police several times to stop his actions but he refused.He was then informed that he was under arrest, but he began to struggle with officers.He was eventually arrested and charged with two counts persistent disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public drunkenness.He has been incarcerated at the Carbon County Correctional Facility.
