A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 11:35 p.m. on Saturday along Route 715 in Jackson Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Marianne F. Strausser, 51, of Henryville, and Anthony T. Berrien, 71, of Bronx, New York, were both northbound when Strausser's 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix struck the rear of Berrien's 2002 Dodge Neon. Both vehicles became disabled at the point of impact.Berrien and passengers Angela R. Berrien, 59, Antoinette Berrien, 40, and Brianna C. Artis, 15, all of Bronx, complained of minor injuries and were taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.Strausser, who was not injured, showed signs of intoxication, troopers said, and is facing a DUI charge.
