State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a burglary and a criminal mischief incident.

The break-in occurred at the home of Grace Madenford, 82, of 171 Main St., village of Joliett, Porter Township.Taken from the home was a desktop computer. Entry was gained through a boarded-up second floor bedroom window to the rear of the house. Entry occurred sometime between 2 and 9 a.m. on Sunday.The mischief incident occurred at Stumps Garage, in Pine Grove Township. Unknown criminals used an unknown object to scratch both sides and front bumper of a 2007 Ford Mustang parked on a lot at the garage.The incident occurred sometime between July 23-25.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
