Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday approved a number of personnel moves.

Rest Haven: Terminated full-time nurses' aide Amy Faust of Hamburg and per diem licensed practical nurse Frances Trygar of Mahanoy City; hired Fallyn Brachman of Tamaqua; David Warfel of Saint Clair; Jillian Emerich of Cressona; Samantha Schell, Christopher Grant, and Nicholas Mosley, all of Schuylkill Haven; Serena Perry, Taylor Maskerines, Amy Jenkins and Kathryn Newmoyer, all of Pottsville; Hannah Tobin of Port Carbon and Clarissa Hostetter of Auburn as part-time nurses' aide trainees at $8.17 an hour.Children and Youth Services agency: Promoted Carl Rumbel of Ringtown from caseworker one to caseworker two at $18.04 an hour, and accepted the resignation of caseworker two Sherry Clark of Derry Township.Prison: Transferred Cori Coward of Butler Township from personnel/fiscal assistant to program secretary at $19.06 an hour.Soil Conservation: Promoted Melissa Seigfried from part-time secretary one to conservation fiscal technician at $17.15 an hour.Sheriff's office: Appointed William Gower of Auburn as an unpaid intern, and hired Shawn Butler of Girardville as per diem security guard at $11.67 an hour. Butler replaces John Toner, who died July 14.Office of Solid Waste: Accepted the resignations of collection drivers Kenneth Harrison of Orwigsburg and Michael Bailey of Minersville.District Attorney's office: Hired Cynthia Shpakovsky of Frackville as a detective two at $20.92 an hour, and appointed Quinn Casey of York as an unpaid intern.Domestic Relations: Hired Gina Leitzel of Saint Clair as secretary one at $12.02 an hour.District Justice: Hired Kathryn Buchanan of west Mahanoy Township as district justice assistant one at $12.39 an hour.
