A 39-year-old Tamaqua man has been cited after he pushed his neighbor's 5-year-old grandson from the porch.

Tamaqua police were dispatched to 142 and 155 Penn St. at 3:05 p.m. on July 10 for a neighbor dispute.Officers spoke separately with the residents and were told the preschooler and his grandfather were walking home from a neighbor's when the child ran across several porches, including the one at 142 Penn St. As the youngster stepped on the porch, resident Derrick Lutz, 39, gave him a hard shove, causing him to fall to the pavement.Lutz denied being on the porch at the time, but neighbors witnessed the attack.The boy received minor injuries to his right foot.Lutz was charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment.
