Work is advancing at the Tamaqua East Broad Street Bridge project, seen Tuesday. Workers have moved to the deck perimeter and sidewalk areas. The 18-month, $2.5 million restoration is expected to be finished in November. The bridge has been closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic since early last year.
