A Monroe County man was cited for simple assault and criminal mischief following an incident that occurred Sunday in the Sierra View development in Blakeslee.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers were called at 10:44 p.m. for an altercation that took place between two adult males.On scene officers learned that Terry Rought, 31, of Hanover Township, Luzerne County, had arrived at the home of Glenn J. Milne III, 37, at 1643 Glacier Drive, at Milne's request to pick up his 9-year-old daughter.Once Rought arrived at the home, Milne physically assaulted Rought and damaged his vehicle. Police said Rought sustained minor injuries and damages were minor to the vehicle.Milne was then cited.
