Kevin Boyer, Jay Hollenbach Sr., Nicholas Hollenbach, Ray Swartz and Jay Hollenbach Jr. of the American Hose Company of Tamaqua finalize plans for the 15th Annual American Hose Poker Run,which will be held Aug. 3 in conjunction with the company's annual fireman's festival. Three generations of the Hollenbach family are members of the planning committee this year. The poker run has attracted riders from throughout the Times News coverage area, making it a highlight off the three-day festival, which kicks off the evening of Aug. 1 with a firetruck parade. Registration for the poker run begins at 1 p.m. that Sunday. The fire company is locatedon Mauch Chunk Street in Tamaqua.
