State police at Hazleton are investigating an armed robbery at a Hazleton-area business.

Troopers said two men entered the Verizon Wireless Retail store at 837 Airport Road in Hazle Township at 12:55 p.m. on Sunday, with one brandishing a firearm.The two took an undetermined amount of cellphones and tablets. No one was injured in the incident.The first suspect was described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, and was wearing a white shirt under a black top/jacket. He was wearing dark pants, possibly blue jeans, and had on some type of white cloth, possibly a white T-shirt, which was tied with some type of black material, to hide his face. Police believe he is Hispanic.The second suspect was about 5 feet 7 inches tall, husky build, wearing a red ski mask, black hooded jacket with some type of metallic embroidery, jeans and black shoes.
