State police at Fern Ridge are looking for a hit-and-run driver involved in an incident that occurred at 2:45 p.m. on July 8 along Golden Slipper Road in Jackson Township.

Troopers said Sara D. Gessner, 53, of Bartonsville, was driving a 2009 Saturn Outlook eastbound when she slowed down.The driver of a vehicle behind her did not slow down and the front of that vehicle hit the rear of the Outlook. After impact the other driver fled the scene.Gessner was not injured.
