Tamaqua Police are looking for a white male who reportedly stabbed a borough man on Friday.

Tim Weirich, 56, of 107 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, told police he was on his front porch at 9:28 p.m. Friday when he saw another man approaching.The male tossed a cup to the ground. Weirich yelled to him about littering. The male then walked over to the porch.During an exchange of words, the unknown male stabbed Weirich in the upper left arm.The victim was unable to describe the weapon, but said the male was between the ages of 35-40, had a scruffy appearance and was wearing blue jeans.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 570-668-5000.
