A New York state driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident in Carbon County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Amanda L. Jagdeo, 23, of Ozone Park, was found parked along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township at 10:50 p.m. on Friday. Upon making contact with Jagdeo, she was found to be under the influence of alcohol.She was placed under arrest and transported to the barracks for a breath test. Troopers said DUI and related charges will be filed.
