State police at Lehighton reported on the following driving under the influence arrests.
On July 4 Crystal Neiley of Blakeslee was involved in a single-vehicle crash along Route 115 in the area of Beach's Sunset Inn in Ross Township, Monroe County.She showed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Charges are pending blood test results, troopers said.At 3:02 a.m. on Saturday Jacob Alan Stauffer, 22, of Lehighton, was westbound on Route 895 in East Penn Township, Carbon County, when his 2000 Toyota Celica left the road and struck an embankment and then concrete barriers before coming to rest on top of the barriers.Stauffer, who was not injured, showed signs of intoxication and was transported to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test. Charges are pending the results.Also on Saturday, at 8:39 p.m., Jeremy J. Andrews, 37, of Kunkletown, was stopped for traffic violations along Route 534, south of Barry S Road in Polk Township, Monroe County, for vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest.At 10:35 p.m. on Saturday, Dale Allen Fink, 27, of Jim Thorpe, was stopped along Route 209 at Long Mountain Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI of a controlled substance.
