Alex Rubin of Lehighton has been named to the dean's list at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, for the spring semester with a 3.5 GPA.

He recently completed his first year at the college and this is his second time named to the dean's list.Alex is pursuing a bachelor of music in music recording technology. He was honored at LVC's Celebration of Student Success for making an impact on the campus as a new student.He was involved in the Wig & Buckle Theater Company. He was also employed by the college as a tutor; and is employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission on his summer break.The son of Kim and Derrick Rubin, he is a 2013 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. He is also the grandson of Mark and Kathy Smith of Jim Thorpe, James and Shirley Davis of Lehighton and the late Rose Ann Smith.His interests include playing the drums and piano, running, hiking, biking, swimming and skateboarding.
