A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 9:21 p.m. on Sunday along Route 248 in Franklin Township.

State police at Lehighton said David Allen Christman of Palmerton was stopped after being observed committing several traffic violations.He was found to be under the influence of marijuana. He submitted to a blood test, with charges pending.
