The two teams were tied 7-7 the day before when the game was called on account of darkness. The suspended contest resumes with Haydt striking out the side in order. The Eagles' clean-up hitter steps to the plate in the bottom half and blasts a 3-1 pitch over the leftfield fence to give the Eagles the title.
