Joseph L. Cierlitsky, 23, of 445 E. Willing St., Tamaqua, was picked up by state parole agents on June 18 and transported to the State Correctional Institution in Mahanoy.

During a search before transport agents found a small, clear plastic bag filled with a white substance and called Tamaqua police.The substance tested positive for methamphetamine. Borough police have charged Cierlitsky with possession of a controlled substance.
