A local driver was involved in a four-vehicle, rear-end type crash that occurred about 12:55 p.m. on Monday along Route 100 near Industrial Road, in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County.

Township police said Catherine Marston, 22, of Ottsville, Bucks County, William Baer, 25, of East Greenville, Montgomery County, Michael Herman, 28, of Lehighton, and Stanley Shoppel, 56, of Newport, Rhode Island, were all southbound. Police said Marston attempted to change lanes and did not see traffic stopped ahead of her.The front of her 2008 Acura struck the rear of Baer's 2001 Chevrolet 2500 truck, pushing it into the rear of Herman's 1997 Chevrolet 2500 truck, which then struck the rear of Shoppel's 1993 Mercedes-Benz.No one was injured with damages moderate to the Marston and Baer vehicles and minor to the Herman and Shoppel vehicles.
