Adult Day Care

The Tamaqua Area Adult Day Care Center has a variety of activities planned for July including celebrating Christmas in July on July 25.Other activities for the month include: July 2, sing a long with Audrey; July 8, cookie bingo; July 9, scrapbooking; July 10, presentation on "Dear Tamaqua Project;" July 11, National Blueberry Muffin Day; July 16, Salvation Army service; July 17, bingo; July 21, watermelon pizza; July 23, special breakfast; and July 29, National Lasagna Day.In addition to weekly sing-alongs, exercise sessions, a variety of therapies and social games, the center provides breakfast, lunch and a snack, as well as the opportunity for hairstyling and manicure services.Bethany ECThe Rev. Kevin Roberts will officiate at the 8 a.m. traditional service Sunday in Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church. A contemporary service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Tamaqua YMCA, including nursery and primary church. John Hazle will officiate at the 9:15 a.m. worship service this Sunday in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. The service will include Holy Communion.St. Peter's UnionSunday worship services are held at 9 a.m. in St. Peter's Union Church, Mantzville.
