Schuylkill County Recorder of Deeds A. Matthew Dudish died today.

He had been recovering from a lung transplant in March.Dudish, who was first elected in 1999, also owns a business in Pottsville, Anthracite Abstract Co.The Hazleton Standard Speaker reported that Dudish, a nonsmoker, experienced shortness of breath, consulted a physician and learned he was suffering idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.He was reelected to his current position in 2011.
