State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County home.

Troopers said the residence of Richard Clayson Wycoff, 58, of 118 Stoney Ledge Road in Brodheadsville, Jackson Township, was entered through an unsecured basement sliding glass door to the rear of the home. Once inside, the criminals removed electrical wiring from the basement ceiling.The entry occurred sometime between May 31 and June 2.
