Tamaqua man facing charges

A Tamaqua man is facing charges following an incident at the home of his father.

State police at Frackville said David Hartranft, 19, will be charged with recklessly endangering another person and related counts for an incident that occurred about 2:45 p.m. on June 15, at the residence of his father, Joseph Hartranft, 53, of 616 Old Route 209, in the village of Newkirk, Schuylkill Township.Troopers said the younger Hartranft had an argument with his father. After the argument David Hartranft fired multiple rounds from a .22-caliber long gun from the back yard of his father's home toward 614 and 602 Old Route 209.Also listed as victims were Joel Farber, 32, and a 4-year-old girl, who resides at one of the listed addresses.
