Pennsylvania State Police have arrested a Saint Clair man in the death of Jason "Jay" Hahn, 22, of Andreas.

Ethan Michael Sullivan, 20, is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, simple assault, theft by unlawful taking, and recklessly endangering another person.He was arraigned early Sunday before District Judge Stephen Bayer of Tamaqua and jailed in Schuylkill County Prison, where is he was already being held on unrelated charges.Hahn was last seen the weekend of June 14, when he left the house with a friend either late the night of June 14 or early in the morning of June 15. In a June 19 interview with the Times News, Hahn's friend Derek Snyder said Sullivan told him he dropped Hahn off near Mary D or New Philadelphia, "but his story kept changing."Snyder and his family later learned the Jeep in which Sullivan had picked up Hahn had been stolen, and that the friend was in jail.According to a news release from Trooper Edward Lizewski of the Frackville barracks, Hahn's body was found at about 5 p.m. Saturday in a wooded area along Silver Creek Road in Blythe Township, about one-and-one-half miles from New Philadelphia.The affidavit of probable cause notes that Sullivan had driven to 557 Blue Mountain Road in West Penn Township at approximately 1 a.m. on June 15. There, he became involved in a conversation with Hahn. Both men then left the home in Sullivan's Jeep and traveled to a wooded location in Blythe Township, north of New Philadelphia.At some point, Sullivan took a metal bar from the Jeep and struck Hahn in the head several times, police said.When the victim fell to the ground, Sullivan then removed $54 in cash, Hahn's ID and several other cards from his wallet.He also removed the battery from the victim's cellphone as well as Hahn's sneakers. The victim was then wrapped in a blue tarp and tossed down an embankment.Several logs were then placed on top of the tarp.Sullivan then attempted to burn the Jeep and fled the area.State police Troop L Major Case Team arrived at the location where the body was found by people riding all-terrain vehicles. The Kaska fire department assisted.Hahn was pronounced dead by Schuylkill County coroner David Moylan.On Sunday a virtual autopsy was performed at Simon Kramer Institute, New Philadelphia.A virtual autopsy consists of a CT scan that reveals indications of internal trauma and broken bones, said technicians at the institute.The body was scheduled for a complete autopsy today at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.Sullivan has a string of arrests, the most recent being a felony burglary charge along with criminal mischief and theft filed by state police at Schuylkill Haven on Wednesday.State police interviewed Sullivan on Saturday, when he confessed verbally, and in writing, to Hahn's murder, after being given his Miranda Rights.Criminal homicide is a capital offense, and there will not be any bail.
