A Tamaqua couple has been cited for an altercation at their home on June 15.

Tamaqua police were dispatched to 35 W. Union St. at 2:30 p.m. that day for a reported domestic incident in progress. Once on the scene, the officer discovered both parties had left. A witness told the officer that Terry R. Boyer, 57, and Cathy Ann Balliet, had been arguing loudly and produced video evidence of the altercation.When Boyer left the scene in his vehicle, a cooler fell the back of the truck, spilling beer cans all over the street.Boyer and Balliet were both cited for disorderly conduct.
