The Experimental Aircraft Association, which meets at the Slatington Airport, took youths from ages 8 to 17-years-old for 20-minute flights recently. Some of the youth also took a turn flying the aircraft. Sage Easterly, 12, of Palmerton, flew for the first time. His mother, Rebecca Green, said he was nervous, but decided to give it a try.
