A domestic incident has led to charges filed against a Nesquehoning woman.
Borough police said on June 9 at 8:48 p.m. officer Brian White was dispatched to a report of an active physical domestic incident at 72 W. Catawissa St.On scene White encountered Lisa Haman, 43, and a man.The man said the two were at a bar and returned home and got involved in an argument. He said he went into the bedroom, and Haman came in swinging and struck him multiple times on his right arm and back of the head.He said Haman then left the room. He said he heard noises and saw Haman coming toward the bedroom with a knife. He said he slammed the door and called 911. He also said Haman had threatened to kill him.White told Haman to leave the apartment and find another place to stay for the night, which she did. The man was asked if he wanted to press charges.As a result, White charged Haman with simple assault and harassment.
